College Timing & SOPs For Safe Re-Opening of Bahria College Islamabad


1-   Corona Virus Pandemic has brought unprecedented changes to our educational landscape in this academic year of 2020-21. With subsiding of COVID-19 in Pakistan, Government has decided to open the schools/colleges on 15th September for c lass IX to XII, O & A-Level at reduced strength.

2-  Re-opening after a long break requires a concerted effort by the Faculty Members and Administrative Staff to prepare the college for academic activities and to provide students risk free environment. Together we will be able to achieve the set targets for restoration of college activities. This SOP is being issued for guidance/ compliance by all to maintain risk free environment at BCI.


SOPs for Students, Parents and Transport /  Drivers



a.        Possession of college identity card.

b.        Wear mask preferably home made fabric for being cost effective.

c.        Hand shaking is not allowed.

e.        Carry own sanitizer.

f.         Frequent use of hand sanitizer.

g.        Bring eatables & water bottle with them

h.        Do not share personal items like pencils, rulers and erasers with class mates.

J.     Avoid crowding during entery and exit from college. Mantian 6 feet distance following foot marks signs.

K.        Cooperate for temperature check at main enterance of the college.

l.         Report to teachers if suffering from fever or other flue like symptoms.m.       


a.         Students having symptom i.e fever, flu, cough etc are not to be sent to school.

b.         Efforts be made to pick & drop the child by own car/ own transport arrangement.

c.         Ensure cleanliness/ hygiene of child.

e.         Ensure availability of mask preferably homemade fabric reusable mask for being cost effective.

f.          Provide an extra mask to child.

g.         Provide water bottle to each child.

h.         Provide lunch box to each child.

j.          Arrange pick & drop of students from gate.

k.         Cooperate with school management at all levels.



Parents are to ensure that Van drivers/Transporters implement following points:

a.         Clean and disinfect vans on daily basis.

b.         Maintain social distancing among students/ passengers.

c.         Ensure wearing of mask and hand gloves by drivers/ staff & students.

d.         Ensure ventilation of air by opening all windows.

e.         Do not allow any student/passenger with cough and fever.

f.          More than 50% occupancy is not be allowed.

g.         School staff is to ensure that instructions are being followed by school vans.


College Timings

College timings from 15 September 20 onward will be:

Mon,Tue,Wed,Thur and Sat - 0800 to 1310
Fri - 0800 - 1230

Parents are requested to arrange pick and drop for their wards accordingly
